Hike Description: This hike is wholly contained in a secluded urban forest in central Colorado Springs. Much of the hike feels like it could be in a wilderness area far from city lights. Gambel oaks, ponderosa pine, and mountain mahogany blend in and out of meadows. Some of the nicest views of the Rampart Range.
Trail Condition: Trail surface is natural, mostly sandy soil with some embedded rocks and roots. The trails are in excellent condition.Trail junctions are well marked with sign posts.
