  hike is wholly contained in a secluded urban forest in central Colorado S
 prings. Much of the hike feels like it could be in a wilderness area far f
 rom city lights. Gambel oaks\, ponderosa pine\, and mountain mahogany blen
 d in and out of meadows. Some of the nicest views of the Rampart Range.\nT
 rail Condition:  Trail surface is natural\, mostly sandy soil with some e
 mbedded rocks and roots. The trails are in excellent condition.Trail junct
 ions are well marked with sign posts.
