HIKE DESCRIPTION: This hike is a city walk along Cottonwood Creek. We will be starting near the
western end of the creek and walking eastward, possibly as far as Union Blvd depending upon weather and trail conditions. The trail is paved and generally maintained in excellent condition. The initial quarter mile or so passes by interesting rock formations along a fast-moving creek with small spillways. The balance of the hike is a pleasant mostly flat walk below and between residential neighborhoods.
HIKER PREPARATION/EQUIPMENT: Check the weather forecast and dress appropriately - layers
usually work best. Bring sun protection and rain gear if rain is forecast. Bring plenty of water.
RESTROOM: None on trail.
PETS: Dogs are OK on leash.
