 S: Drive up Highway #24 to Woodland Park. In Woodland Park\, turn\nright (
 north) on S. Baldwin St. Drive 2.9 miles and turn right onto LOY Creek Roa
 d. Drive 1.5\nmiles and turn right onto Rampart Range Road. Drive 2.3 mile
 s to the TH\, #714\, 9701-9751\nForest Road 300. In GPS type in coordinate
 s:\n38.9777261\, -105.0092557\nHIKE STARTS at: 8:30 am. Please arrive by: 
 8:15.\nHIKE DISTANCE: approx. 3.5 miles down to Rampart Reservoir and back
 .\nELEVATION GAIN: approx 300 ft\nHIKING TIME (moving time): about 2- 2.5 
 hours depending on how many stops we make for\nflower gazing.\nHIKE DIFFIC
 ULTY RANGE: Easy\, fairly flat slope.\nHIKE DESCRIPTION: This hike wanders
  gently downhill along Rainbow Creek to Rampart\nReservoir. The slope is g
 entle and the trail is easy. There are good views of Pikes Peak and the Fr
 ont Range. There are abundant wildflowers to see and photograph. Jan will 
 share her knowledge about these native plants.\nHIKER PREPARATION/EQUIPMEN
 T: hiking poles if you wish\, and plenty of water.\nRESTROOM: There are no
  restrooms.\nPETS: no pets please.
